About
Snocross Mobile Medical Team (SMMT) was started in the late fall of 2016. After meeting at Haydays with influential snocross leaders including team owners and factory race department personnel, it became very clear “we need to do this and we need to do this now!”.
With a clear vision to bring world-class track-side medical care to the athletes and crew of the national Amsoil Championship Snocross series at no cost to the athletes, we began to build the team.
FXR Racing has been our title sponsor since day one, establishing a strong and ongoing partnership with a commitment to the athletes and sport of snocross that is unprecedented in the industry.
Each race we bring a board-certified ER doctor, certified athletic trainer, an EMT/Paramedic and a trauma nurse. Our mobile medical trailer is basically a ER unit on wheels with the capacity to do most of what happens in a traditional ER.
SMMT is the 501c3 non-profit that brings the funding and administration to the FXR Mobile Medical Team. We function soley on the generosity of our sponsors and donors.
